Staring down death

So, have you ever "stared death in the face"? For me it was barely dodging a super-train when I lived in Germany. A story for another day. But I've been thinking about that whole thing of losing life as I prepare for our mission trip to Northern Ireland. Not like dying during the trip, but about how it really looks to die daily, like Christ calls us to do. What about physical death plays into the daily crucifixion we experience as Christ-followers? Still pondering that one...
